Mike Tuffrey, founding editor
Mike has worked in the field of corporate social responsibility since 1987. A chartered accountant by profession, Mike is founding editor of Briefing and a founding director of its publisher The Corporate Citizenship Company.
Mike's career has encompassed being a director of a leading not-for-profit agency and working in parliament as a researcher, speech writer and legislative assistant.
Mike is also active in local government, having served as a leader in an inner city London borough and as an elected member of the Greater London Council. He is currently elected to the London Assembly and serves on the London Sustainable Development Commission. His own voluntary activities include serving as national honorary treasurer of Gingerbread, the lone parent charity, and chairing the management committee of a care-in-the-community charity providing homes and work for people with a severe learning difficulty.
Anne Stubert, managing editor
Anne, who is the managing editor of the Corporate Citizenship Briefing, is a senior consultant at Corporate Citizenship. Since joining Corporate Citizenship in 2011, Anne has worked in the areas of supply chain, inclusive business, impact assessment, and women empowerment. Recent client work includes Unilever, L’Oreal, Imperial Tobacco and Access Bank.
Anne started her career in international development, working for the Swedish Foreign Office based in Stockholm, and later on moved to East Africa to work for the UN. Over the past few years Anne has worked in CSR and risk assessment, and has specialised in the intersection between CSR and international development, focusing on emerging markets. She has worked as an independent consultant, and for the CSR consultancy firm SustainAbility.
